Our goal at the Academy is to bring together physicians from across the medical and surgical disciplines, whose special interest is in cosmetic rejuvenation.

We believe that in making the benefits of membership available to all specialties, this promotes the greatest dissemination of information to our members as well as introducing a universal standard of practice across the discipline of cosmetic surgery.

It is estimated that over 7 million cosmetic procedures were done in 2003 according to the ASAPS. Younger individuals are now consulting their physicians earlier and seeking ways to not only to live longer, but seeking advice on how to live better and stay younger. More and more physicians are incorporating rejuvenation techniques into their practices, from simple techniques such as facial peels, to injections of filler substances, to liposculpture and face lifting.

The Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is committed to promoting excellence in the field of cosmetic laser medicine and surgery, and the dissemination of the most current knowledge to our members.
